A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, who enjoys working on the technical challenges encountered in the design, production and construction of submerged plant in telecommunication systems. Having more than 7 years experience in submerged plant specification, design, qualification testing and transfer to production, followed by 23 years experience of all aspects of subsea cable system manufacture & marine operations, involving factory, office and international field work. Has published technical papers for Sub Optic Conferences.

Responsibilities
- Managing the Technical Department within Marine Operations, ensuring all projects are reviewed for risks, and suitable vessels are available to cover all operations -
- Conduct vessel technical audits and sea trials to ensure that work platforms, operational procedures and Alcatel plant is correctly handled -
(complying with Alcatel documentation, relevant regulations and statutory safety requirements)
- Investigate, analyse and resolve marine project delays, product and equipment failures. Maintain a database to track trends, identify solutions to eliminate future cost exposures -
